Second Fortune is located 75km south of the Beta Deposit and adjacent Brightstar processing infrastructure.

With historic production of 38k oz of Au up until 2018, Second Fortune was brought out of care and maintenance in 2021 and has since mined more than 350kt of ore at 3.6 g/t Au. Production for the first 3 quarters of FY 2024 was circa 13k oz of Au. 

Ore from Second Fortune is currently processed via the Genesis Minerals Gwalia processing mill.

Brightstar aims to unlock latent value in the Second Fortune mine by focusing on targeted exploration and increased mining rates and productivity.

Current JORC resources at Second Fortune stand at 58k oz at 11g/t Au.
